Through the Red Sea

Pharaoh changes his mind and pursues the Hebrews with six hundred chosen chariots. Israel is trapped between the army and the sea. They cry out in terror, but Moses replies, “Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD.” The sea splits. Israel walks across on dry ground. The waters return on Pharaoh's army — and Israel is born as a free people on the far shore, singing.
